Everyday in May 27

Everyday in May 26

Everyday in May 24/25

Draw a cat, I'm doubling up on two days of challenges.
When I was small I always wanted a cat but my Dad was strictly a dog man. Here is Pearl, who moves around rather a lot for a cat that sleeps all day.My other cat was featured in last years EDiM.
Now to paint or not to paint? I want to do a painted version to show her colour and markings

Everyday in May 17 soap

EDiM 16 daughter's soap with loofah old soap dish
Did some of the detail with a blue ink pen I found at home, big mistake....still love a paintbrush, much softer and wanted to add highlights but now know the pen isn't waterproof... I thankfully did a scan before this.

Everyday in May 16

EDiM 16...Draw a stapler....well were more interesting, ( can you have visual typos ?) unfinished, will post finished version tomorrow. Sketched it out , then knocked over the box........would be more interesting to draw the untidy version of staples hastily and badly thrown back in the box (but life is too short and I have a bar of soap to find

Everyday in May 15

Draw a cookie (or three).........

Everyday in May 12

A shelf or mantel and something that sits on it ......wooden shoe last

Everyday in May 11 lemon

EDiM11.....lemon, sorry had to break away from the list today......the theme was Draw something interesting you found on the internet but,  I have been struggling with following the list the last few days so decided to go back to the original idea of Everyday in May, which was to be creative everyday.

Sunday, 4 May 2014

a quick thumb, in between making two lasagnas (and the washing up that comes with it)  and a hint of what I intend to do tonight........too lazy to do the text but the book is "Life after Life" by Kate Atkinson....a book I should have read before today so I could have gone to the book club.....this afternoon. Enjoying it !
(and maybe a manicure to sort out my wrinkly hands)

Everyday in May number 3
Draw an umbrella.......this is a friends parasol from Burma/Myanmar but it is waterproof so could be an umbrella.
Another subject I am playing around with as a theme for paintings...will be posting the inside and open views at a later date.
