Beautiful as always Debra. I love the red against the grey.Curious- Did you draw it in situ or from a reference?Have a good day.
Thanks Sue,this is from a photo that I took this week. I tried to sketch it quickly to get a sketchy feel to it but then painting took a while and I lost it. (The road is one I walk every Tuesday but is rarely so colourful)
I love your use of colour here, beautiful Debra!
This came out spectacular! I am envious, I am still trying to re-acquaint myself to color after my 5 months graphite marathon.
your work is spectacular and you give us a wonderful view of another place.
This is magnificent! The complexity and the composition. And the color. Wow!
You render the atmosphere of the places so well! Your work is both gorgeous and very expressive. I always make a lot of "Oh!" and "Aw!" when I come to see your latest posts!
Great sketch. Looks amazingly similar to a Chinatown street in NYC especially close to Chinese New Year.
Fantastic, this is so cool,
Gorgeous! LOVE the color. Must be a great time to live in Hong Kong...too bad there is work!
being drawn to red themes I love this one with it's gay perspective, too !
wow - so much lively colour !! It is interesting that you comment that it isn't always like this !!! Otherwise we would think that all of Hong Kong is like this all the time
Thanks for your comments everyone!
